Nancy D'Inzillo (She/They)

UX Director & Co-Owner

I believe that asking the right questions is essential to every good digital strategy, and curiosity is my natural state of being. I love researching what makes a client unique and searching for innovative ways to help them share that story with their target customers. I am always in pursuit of measurable and meaningful outcomes that reflect the client’s business goals.

I have worked in the realm of content strategy to one degree or another in almost every position I’ve ever held. Whether it was finding ways to shape the clearest narrative flow while telling a compelling story, shaping campaigns that would carry from digital to print and back, or optimizing content based on the analytical tools at hand, strategy has always been a required skill in my work.

I have a BA in English Literature and an MA in Writing: Book Publishing from Portland State University. I fell in love with digital media and the triple bottom line when I had my first full-time job as the Interim Web Communications Coordinator at the Department of Environmental Quality. I am delighted to be here at PixelSpoke, where I can again marry my passion for digital with my desire to work for a company that cares about the wellbeing of people and planet as much as profit. Plus, I get the added bonus of working with a team of some of the smartest, most talented people I know.

Personal Highlights

What I love about Portland – The amount of greenery we have even in our most urban settings and the amazing selection of culinary delights we have in the city.

My favorite place ever traveled – As the Anglophile I am, I have to go with London.

Hobbies – Reading, playing board games, traveling, and going for long walks.

Weirdest thing I’ve ever eaten – An ant (they taste like lemons with a crunchy outside).

Bonus fact! I love steampunk because it combines two of my fascinations: the Victorian era and fantasy/sci-fi.
