We’re excited to announce the launch of Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union’s new website!
Chartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1954, Meridian Trust seeks to help its members achieve their financial goals and dreams through: Personal Connections, Simple Solutions, and Lifetime Relationships. The credit union currently has more than $550 million in assets, serving nearly 32,000 members with locations in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado.
From the outset of the project, PixelSpoke and Meridian Trust identified three primary goals for the website redesign: 1) Make it simple, personal, and relationship-focused, 2) Stand out, don’t blend in, and 3) Think like a fintech and drive conversions.
Make it simple, personal, and relationship-focused
With a streamlined and highly intuitive top navigation, as well as a homepage tool to guide visitors to best-fit products, Meridian Trust’s new website gets members and prospects where they need to go. The homepage copy emphasizes that Meridian Trust is committed to building lifelong relationships, a message that is reinforced throughout the site and through testimonials and photos from real members (and real members’ dogs). The homepage images are personalized to members’ regions, offering an instant point of connection.
Stand out, don’t blend in
The bright color scheme and bold design instantly make the website stand out. Large impact numbers, rounded photos, custom icons, and other striking design elements differentiate Meridian Trust from its competitors — megabanks, community banks, and other credit unions alike.
Think like a fintech and drive conversions
All product pages include clear calls to action for visitors who are interested in getting started, offering online applications and alternate pathways for visitors who prefer to visit, call, or text. Some pages, like Savings and New Mortgages, also include guided selling tools, helping visitors find the best-fit account or loan options based on the preferences they select.
The website is built using flexible WordPress templates that empower the Meridian Trust marketing team to update rates, product pages, photos, community news, and other information as needed. Moving forward, Meridian Trust and PixelSpoke look forward to continuing their partnership to further evolve the website and better support the financial well-being of Meridian Trust members.
