OnPoint Community Credit Union and Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union Win 2022 MAC Awards

We’re thrilled to announce that our clients OnPoint Community Credit Union and Meridian Trust Federal Credit Union both won 2022 MAC Awards in the Website Design Category! The Marketing Association of Credit Unions (MAC) created the MAC Awards in 1986 to celebrate the great work of credit union marketers.

OnPoint, which won a Silver Award in the $1 Billion and Greater category, has been improving the lives of its members and the communities it serves—including Portland, Vancouver, Eugene and Bend—for nearly 90 years. In that time, OnPoint has grown to be the largest member-owned financial institution headquartered in Oregon with more than 480,000 loyal members.

The latest website redesign aimed to:

1. Update the look and feel to align with new branding elements.
2. Place relevant content at visitors’ fingertips by contextually embedding key tools, resources, and calls to action.
3. Better optimize location pages on the heels of OnPoint’s massive expansion into Fred Meyer stores in 2021.

Meridian Trust, which won a Bronze Award in the $501 to $999 Million category, seeks to help its members achieve their financial goals and dreams through: Personal Connections, Simple Solutions, and Lifetime Relationships. Chartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1954, the credit union currently serves more than 32,000 members with locations in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado.

From the outset of the project, PixelSpoke and Meridian Trust identified three primary goals for the website redesign:

1. Make it simple, personal, and relationship-focused.
2. Stand out, don’t blend in.
3. Think like a fintech and drive conversions.
