Catriona Buhayar, Director of Technology

Working at PixelSpoke fosters my passion for building communities that make a difference.

I am proud of the team that we have built. Together, we create long-term relationships with our clients by collaboratively developing solutions to their business and organizational challenges.

I have Masters of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from University of Washington and a B.A. in International Relations from Wesleyan University. I have previously worked in non-profits and the City of Portland, and I have always appreciated opportunities to create meaningful partnerships.

My favorite part of my job is working with such a talented team.  The collective passion for excellence and group learning makes my job easy, and I love having a never-ending set of stimulating technical, human, and marketing challenges to solve.

  • My favorite place ever traveled – The amazing city of Buenos Aires.
  • Hobbies – Writing, cooking, brewing amazing tea, and walking around Portland. Playing with my personal websites.
  • Weirdest thing I’ve ever eaten – Tongue.
  • Bonus fact! Only seven people have ever managed to pronounce my full name correctly on the first try.
